PT Autosport announces 2025 eSeries
PT Autosport has announced a new season of its iRacing sim-based winter series that offers a real-world prize to the winner: automatic entry into the finals at the team’s 2025 Aspiring Driver Shootout.
The winner will receive direct entry into the 2025 PT Autosport Aspiring Driver Shootout, where a driving partnership package of up to $250,000 is on offer*. Second, third and fourth place in the final standings will earn an invitation to join the PT Autosport eSports team, where they’ll receive coaching and mentorship to further their sim racing career.
The six-round iRacing winter series will take place every other Saturday from January 11 to March 22 at Noon Eastern. The races will be broadcast on the Global SimRacing Channel’s YouTube page.
The series comes with a significant twist: the car and track combinations will be announced just an hour before the competition begins, thus requiring eliminating any “home field advantage” and removing the chance to test cars and setup in advance – significantly leveling the playing field. Practice time will be limited, and various secret twists and variables will test drivers on their adaptability and determination, just like in real world scenarios.
Entries are now open at ptautosport.com/esports/. Cost to enter is $25, and the entry deadline is midnight, January 10, 2025.
* Shootout entrants must be between 18 and 23 years of age; if the eSeries winner is ineligible, they will receive an alternate cash prize
